A day after my 30th birthday I headed down to Reston Virginia for Charlie Lee’s World Series of Martial Arts which is best known for it’s Rolex Challenge. The Rolex Challenge follows all the rules of NASKA for point fighting but gives penalty points for going to the ground or out of bounds and is generally harder hitting. I flew down with a good sized crowd from National Karate including Greg Betlach, Hamed Firouzi, Alex Dingmann, Elias Lemon, Ashley Christanson, Christy Stiles, BJ Carnahan, & Joe Fabiano.
